I have a Ford Edge 2018 and had my battery die. In the process of trying to jump start it, there were some other problems. When I called, I got prompt service and a clear expectation of time frame for repairs. It turned out to be more complicated but I was kept informed of all issues found. In the end, I am satisfied that the repairs were done as quickly as possible and the professional level was top notch. I especially like that I talked to the same person each time and didn’t have to go over the same information repeatedly. They even did some cleaning on the inside of my car because of dust accumulated because my windows were not able to be closed for a few days!

I’ve found it has gotten harder to find technicians that have the equipment needed to diagnose and/or repair a Saab, and I’m often referred to another technician or shop (though it feels more like bounced around than referred). Although it is stated on the website, today I called to double-check that they can work on Saabs. I spoke with Daniel who was very polite and reassuring. I have scheduled an appointment for my car and *fingers crossed* will be able to have any repairs done locally! *UPDATE* Shadetree automotive technicians are outstanding and definitely trained to work on Saabs. They found the reason my Saab was struggling when first starting up. Also, in the past, I had mentioned an oil leak to another repair shop (three different times) and they insisted there was no oil leak and it was just spillover from an oil change. Shadetree found the minor leak, without me ever saying a thing (I gave up on mentioning it), and explained it was minor, then gave me all my options (including just keeping an eye on it). They really looked at my car, thoroughly, and knew what they were doing. As a female, I really loved that Shadetree never once tried to sell me on a bunch of useless things or unnecessary items. They were very transparent in everything they did. Not one single sales pitch for an air filter (or anything else). I also felt like they explained everything to me the same way in which they explained things to my husband. They simply text (or email) everything you need to know about your car’s performance (color-coded so you know the severity of any issues) and let you call them to ask any questions and tell them what you would like done. Another thing I really appreciated is I only ever spoke about my car’s issues to one technician, Russ (who is absolutely awesome). This seems insignificant, but he knew about my car, didn’t have to ask other technicians about things, and I never had to say “when I spoke with __ they said __.” He knew my car, he knew me, and he knew our previous conversations, making every call seamless. They were very upfront with all costs before I committed to any work being done, and I left without a single surprise cost on my bill. Shadetree technicians are very honest, friendly, and understanding. I haven’t been more confident in an auto repair shop and I will absolutely be using Shadetree from here on out. *P.S. – The cookie rumors are true, and they are delicious! Thank you Shadetree!!!

I could not be more impressed. After taking my Acura to a dealer it would barely run. I got it to Lisa at Shadetree a week before my scheduled appointment and she gave me a loaner. They could not look at it for another week but I had a loaner! After running diagnostics I received a review of all the issues with my car. Lisa called me to go over the troubles and give me a time frame for completion. She kept me informed of all the goings on and stuck to her estimate. I will be a regular from now on.

I find it very hard to find a mechanic that I trust with our vehicles, knowing they will be driven by my family members. I shade tree I know the work will be done right and in those few occasions when an error happens (we are all human) your staff will always make it right. You have a trusted customer for life.
