Our lead technician Justin is a Dodge/ Ram/ Cummins specialist.
Our lead technician Justin is a Dodge/ Ram/ Cummins specialist. He is heavily experienced in the good old 12 valve, the 24 valve, and the newest 6.7 liter Cummins drivetrain. Justin still has his 1998 Dodge with the 12 valve Cummins and 6-speed manual. Not only does he specialize in all things Dodge/ Ram diesel, he is also passionate about them. His truck still looks and drives like it is fresh off the showroom floor. He is definitely the diesel mechanic you want under the hood of your truck.
On the newer Ram/ Cummins trucks, the most common concerns we have coming into our diesel repair shop are with the emissions systems. Whether it be a Def system concern, particulate filter concern, or catalytic converter concern, we have the knowledge and factory equipment to diagnose any concern that may pop up. If you have a check engine light or any other issue, our Cummins mechanic will take good care of you.
On the older Dodge/ Ram/ Cummins trucks, the most common failures we see are with the fuel system. Cummins fuel system problems often start with a minor issue on the low side fuel supply. If left undiagnosed for too long, it often causes problems with the high-pressure fuel system. If you are noticing any performance problems, let’s get it diagnosed sooner rather than later. If we catch the minor problems in time, we can generally avoid any breakdowns and expensive fuel system repairs.
Fluid leaks are common repairs we do on the Dodge/ Ram/ Cummins trucks. Diesel engines produce a higher amount of vibrations and pressure than most gas engine trucks. With this comes more common leaks. If you are noticing any drips in the driveway or garage, let’s get your truck scheduled in for one of our diesel truck mechanics to properly diagnose and estimate any repairs needed.
Our Dodge/ Ram/ Cummins specialists also diagnose and repair transmission concerns. Ideally, we will keep your transmission serviced regularly and avoid any transmission problems. But if any warning lights, slipping, or shifting problems pop up, our truck mechanics have all the experience needed to diagnose any concern you may have.
